Terms of Service
To provide high-quality digital captures and prints, we must handle all artwork brought into our studio. While we treat each piece with the utmost care and professionalism, by submitting this form you acknowledge and accept the following terms.
1. Artwork Handling & Liability
We treat every piece with great care using professional tools and handling practices. That said, handling physical artwork carries inherent risks — including accidental damage during transport, capture, or storage. The Painted Pixel and its staff are not liable for any loss, damage, or theft while artwork is in our care. By submitting this form, you acknowledge this risk and agree to release The Painted Pixel from any related liability.
If you are shipping original artwork to our studio, please be aware that transit carries its own inherent risks beyond our control. We strongly recommend using a tracked, insured shipping service and packing your work securely. Once we have completed your order, we will return your originals using your original packaging. We are not responsible for damage that occurs during inbound or outbound shipping.
2. Insurance
As is common in professional art settings — galleries, print studios, framers, and beyond — we expect clients to carry their own insurance for artwork left in our care. Having coverage protects you in the rare case something goes wrong. We are not responsible for any uninsured loss or damage, and in the event of an incident, our liability is limited to the value of the services provided.
3. Payment & Turnaround
Payment is due upon receipt. Orders move into production once payment is received in full. Turnaround times are estimates and begin once payment, final file approval, and any proof sign-offs are complete.
4. Cancellations & Changes
Orders that have entered production cannot be canceled or altered. Changes requested after production has begun will be billed at our standard rates.
5. Returns & Reprints
All items are custom-made and non-refundable. If there is a print defect or production error on our end, please contact us within 5 business days of pickup or delivery and we will make it right.
