Shipping Your Work to Us

Packaging Requirements

Please pack your work carefully — damaged artwork cannot be captured or returned in its original condition. Here's what we require:

No frames or glass — Remove all works from frames before shipping. Do not ship frames or glass under any circumstances.

Canvas works — Roll and ship in a rigid tube with end caps, taped securely to ensure they don't fall out during transit.

Paper prints & works on paper — Preferred method is flat packed between cardboard, placed in a box with additional cardboard and padding. Alternatively, roll and ship in a rigid tube.

Large works (over 24" on any side) — A crate is required. We recommend a professional art shipper for oversized or high-value pieces.

Labelling — Please make sure every piece is clearly labelled with your name, title, and any other relevant details before packing.

All shipments — Use a tracked, insured service (FedEx or UPS recommended).

Return shipping — We'll return your originals in the same packaging they arrived in, so please make sure it's sturdy and reusable.

Ship to: The Painted Pixel, 7070 W 16th Ave, Lakewood CO 80214

You can leave this blank and send it to us later — we just need it before your work arrives.

Important: Label Your Pieces

Please make sure all pieces are clearly labelled with your name and the title of the piece before drop-off or shipping. This helps us keep everything organized and ensures your work is properly identified throughout the capture process.

For each piece, please include:

Title
Size (e.g. 12×16")
Medium (e.g. acrylic on canvas)

"Thinking Cap", 12×16", acrylic on canvas

We can only capture work you have created or have express written permission to reproduce.

Capture Preferences

Both capture types include custom lighting and expert editing by our in-house artists, and deliver high-resolution TIFF and web-ready JPG files. The key difference: Print Capture includes professional color proofing and a printed proof for the closest possible match to your original.
